I needed to have a broken wisdom tooth removed. I found several oral surgeons through my dental insurance provider, and actually used google reviews to decide I’d go with Dr Wenk. At my initial meeting, he looked at the X-ray and advised I should have my 3 remaining wisdom teeth removed due to their condition. I had the teeth removed yesterday. I was taken back on time, had everything explained thoroughly, got a little shot in the IV to put me under, and I was out the door in roughly 45 minutes. I got a follow up call from his office that afternoon. No pain yesterday or today. I have to add that his entire staff is exceptional. If you need an oral surgeon , I highly recommend Dr Wenk.

Dr.Wenk is the best in his field, bar none! I recently got all four of my wisdom teeth removed, 3 of which being impacted, and had an incredible experience. Dr.Wenk made me feel safe, respected, and relieved all of my fears around my surgery. Dr.Wenk was friendly and personable while maintaining a high level of professionalism- he truly cares about his patients and his work! I needed to move up my surgery in order to be ready for going back to school, and he answered his phone while the office was closed, made the change, and even brought his team in early to accommodate me. My healing has gone perfectly with low pain and no issues at all. Dr.Wenk’s team were all absolutely wonderful as well from the front desk team, to his dental assistants. If I could go back in time I would have had all four of my wisdom teeth handled by Dr. Wenk. Truly one of the most comfortable and clean medical practices I have ever been in and the team that works here is not only highly knowledgeable but also extremely comforting and kind. They were very personable and responsive and went above and beyond to assist in any paperwork needed for medical leave from my job. I had one last wisdom tooth that was majorly impacted and I was horrified of it but Dr. Wenk made the extraction look like a cakewalk. My recovery was so much faster and far less painful than the extraction of my other three wisdom teeth and I could not be more grateful for the team here. These people are undoubtedly the best there is and there is absolutely no other practice I’d recommend for oral surgery more than Suncoast Oral Surgery Specialists!
