Dr. Scott Wenk is truly an exceptional oral surgeon with an extensive knowledge base and an excellent staff ready to help. Dr. Wenk's office was able to see me immediately, unlike other offices, and address my issues within days and at a great out-of-pocket price. Dr. Wenk and his team went above and beyond! I work in the Dental Field and was referred here by my Doctor due to having all 4 wisdom teeth including an impacted tooth and wanting sedation (i’m afraid of the dentist and needles). I knew I wanted to go to Dr. Wenk for my surgery because of all the positive things I hear about him in my office from referred patients, so I knew I was in good hands. I had my consultation a couple months ago and was greeted right when I came in by the sweetest lady in the front desk, and I went back for my consult Dr. Wenk answered all my questions/concerns and to find out he’s from Virginia too! I made my appointment in November and was anxious for the surgery but the DA walked me through everything and answered all my questions as well as I was very nervous. Didn’t feel no pain when Dr. Wenk inserted the IV. I’m now 4 days post-op and have had no horrible pain, only taking ibuprofen, following post-op instructions, and now waiting till heal. I 100% will refer anyone to Dr. Wenk, he deserves to be the #1 Oral Surgeon in Sarasota. Thank you Dr. Wenk and his team for making my process smooth and not as bad as I thought.

Let me preface this by saying I am terrified of dentists. Upon arriving at Dr. Wenks office I was pleasantly greeted by his staff. They were very polite and welcoming to me. Of course me being afraid of ANY dentist, I was very apprehensive and nervous at this time. The assistant that accompanied me to my room, tried to put me at ease by letting me know that Dr. Wenk was one of the best in the state of Florida. Being a “tough guy”, how was I going to tell this young lady that I was definitely in fear of what I was about to endure? Dr. Wenk came in and quickly put me at ease by telling me exactly what the procedure entailed and that he had all the latest toys to make sure I wasn’t in any type of pain. Well, what can I say, Dr. Wenk and his staff were 100% correct. No pain during the prep nor the procedure and my surgery went well. My recovery was very quick and I’ve had no follow-up issues since then. Thank you Dr. Wenk and your professional staff for all that you do!
