Background Information

After completing dental school at the Medical College of Virginia, Dr. Scott Wenk went on to complete six additional years of oral and maxillofacial surgery training at the University of Florida.  In addition to medical school, this included anesthesia training, a general surgery internship and years of hospital-based oral surgery training. Dr. Wenk, as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions. Dr. Wenk practices full scope contemporary oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgerywisdom tooth removal, biopsies of oral or facial lesions and corrective jaw surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. Our doctors can also diagnose and treat  facial injuries, and fractures.

Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation and outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.
