Last week I was in Ireland with my mother, where she had a dental emergency. Upon return to Sarasota, we went to my mother’s dentist, who took X-rays and suggested my mother see an oral surgeon to deal with some issues that will require intensive work. She spoke highly of Dr. Wenk and his staff, so I called immediately. The receptionist, Leah, was incredibly helpful and fit us into Dr. Wenk’s schedule the next day (today). My mother was apprehensive about seeing an oral surgeon, but upon meeting the warm staff and Dr. Wenk, a compassionate and patient doctor, she was able to relax. He took his time with my mother; his advice and plan for her is 100% patient centered, and for that my mom, my siblings and I are grateful. As her symptoms progress, we will continue to rely on the judgment and expertise of Dr. Wenk and Suncoast Oral Surgery Specialists.
