After being referred to an endodontist for a possible root canal, it was determined my tooth couldn't be saved. I was in a lot of pain and needed the tooth out ASAP. I live in Tampa, but had been staying with friends in Sarasota to help them prepare to move. I was in too much pain to drive back to Tampa to look for someone there. I found several offices in the Sarasota area, but couldn't get an appointment the same day until I called Dr. Wenk's office. Leah was so kind and sympathetic to my situation, and she was able to get me in that day. Everyone there was amazing. The doctor's assistant was so comforting and friendly (I wish I could remember her name). Dr. Wenk was very professional and gentle. He talked me through everything he was doing. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. On top of that, their rates were the most reasonable of all the oral surgeon offices I'd called. Surpringly, I have felt next to nothing in pain after the procedure. If I ever find myself in need of an oral surgeon in the future, I would, without hesitation, make the trip back to this office!

You can tell when a place is really good when everyone is so happy and welcoming. But the real proof is in the results and Suncoast Oral Surgery has this in spades. Dr. Wenk (and his entire staff) is professional, knowledgeable, personable, and caring and you probably won't find better results and follow-up. I really enjoy my visits with them and will, to some degree, miss them all when my procedures have been completed.

My mom was on Prolia and had a cracked and infected tooth. Dr Wenk pulled it and all follow ups were included in the original price. The staff is friendly and patient. The office is nice and clean and thoughtfully decorated. I would highly recommend Suncoast Oral Surgery Specialists.

Wonderful office staff and oral surgeon. I had an upper molar that broke off and needed to be removed. Dr Wenk and his office staff (Leah, who I worked with the most) were so accommodating and beyond awesome. I went for IV sedation and Dr Wenk did such a great job! He even froze the skin on the top of my hand to make the iV insertion more comfortable. Just so many little things that made the experience top notch. I'll definitely stick with this doctor and wonderful office for any other extractions, implants or whatever I need an oral surgeon for. Thanks so much Dr Wenk and crew! I appreciate you working with me and being accessible 24/7 when I broke a tooth while in NY. Very reassuring.
